Some new users IPhone 12 Series have complained that they are having network connectivity issues and are unable to receive 4G network reception. Users have reported problems connecting to 5G networks in some countries. Affected users were taken to the officer Apple A platform to highlight their plight. Apple has not yet acknowledged the problem while users are desperately waiting for a solution.
“I received my iPhone 12 Pro on Friday. It was activated on Saturday. On Sunday I drove 10mins and when I arrived at my destination there were no welcome bars and no service. And in the middle of the screen in the gray box: Your iPhone is not activated. The only way to regain the connection is toggle the airplane mode on and off. The iPhone had cellular mode for 5G Auto. I switched to LTE to test it. And it was the same, ”said the affected user.
Some iPhone 12 users took to Reddit to explain the problems they were facing. “If you are actively using your phone for more than 20 minutes at a time, you will experience an abandoned signal. I have tried endless remedies to no avail. The only real solution is to put down the phone and wait at least a couple of minutes to retrieve the signal and connection, ”the user wrote.
Note that not all users are experiencing connectivity issues, and only a few users with some telecom operators appear to be affected by the problem.
Last month, some users complained about performance issues and Apple seems to be fixing it. According to a report from MacRumors, an internal document shows that Apple “has acknowledged a problem with some iPhone 12 displays that show flashing, green or gray brightness or other unwanted light variations under certain conditions.”
The document, which was shared with Apple’s official service provider this week, says the Cupertino-based tech giant says it is aware of customer reports on the issue and is investigating the matter.
