Nokia Equipped to enter the laptops segment in India. According to sources, Nokia branded laptops will soon be launched in the country on the e-commerce website Flipkart. Late last month, some certifications for Nokia laptops appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. Tipster Mukul Sharma first spotted the certification on the BIS website and grabbed a screen on Twitter. “Nokia may soon launch a new laptop / notebook / tablet in India, as it has received Indian BIS certification,” Sharma said in a tweet. From the certification details, laptops will be manufactured by Tongfang Limited of China. The certification is NKi510UL82S, NKi510UL85S, NKi510UL165S, NKi510UL810S, NKi510UL1610S, NKi310UL41S, NKi310UL42S, NKi310UL82S, NKi310UL42S, NKi3108282, NKi31082.
As per model names, Nokia laptops will be powered by Intel Core i5 and Core i3 processors. And according to the website spec, ’10’ in model numbers may be for Microsoft Windows 10 operating system.
Incidentally, Flipkart is also licensed by Nokia Television and Streaming Devices brand in India. Nokia launched its first smart TV with Flipkart in India last year. Earlier this year, Flipkart exclusively launched Nokia branded streaming devices in India. This means that unlike Nokia TVs and streaming devices, Nokia laptops are not part of the Finnish company HMD Global It is licensed for Nokia-branded mobiles.
Recently, Nokia’s European-licensed StreamView has added a 75-inch model to its smart TV range. New Nokia Smart TV The 75-inch sports 4K UHD resolution with HDR10 support and Dolby Vision support.
