New Delhi: The tech giant Google Has brought out a useful application called Look to talk. The company has designed this feature to help people with speech and motor impairments communicate with their eyes.
The app works quite simply and allows people to use their eye movement to select and communicate pre-written phrases via a smartphone. The company has launched the app as part of the company’s “Experiments with Google” platform. The app is available to every user who has the app Android Phone.
According to Google, the app is intuitive and simple to use. The smartphone’s screen is divided into three sections and each of them can be accessed by looking left, right or up.
There are lists of pre or written word phrases, which can be selected by looking to the left or right. After this, splitting the select list will appear on either side and the same process will continue until a single phrase is selected and then the phone will say it out loud.
If at any time users think they want to cancel the process, then they need to search. Viewing the home screen enables the snooze option if the user does not want to use the app temporarily. The app allows users to customize phrases as their ich.
The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
