Liverpool: Mohamed Salah scored one goal and another after Liverpool defeated the hapless Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 in the Premier League on Sunday. Forget the leader of the Wolves and former Reds player Connor Cody.
Cody’s momentary determination, which came through Liverpool’s academy, allowed Salah to steal and slot in the 24th minute, and then the defender of the Wolves thought he had won a penalty to see the decision overturned after a video review.
Giorgino Wijnaldum went 2-0 in the 59th minute with a spectacular curling effort, seconds after Cody failed to get a shot on the other end, and Joel Matip led off with a pin point Salah Cross eight minutes later.

Nelson Semedo’s own goal surrounded the happy Liverpool fans of the 2000s.
The win lifted Liverpool by 24 points, with captain Tottenham Hotspur defeating Arsenal 2–0 in Sunday’s goal difference in the North London derby. The Wolves are 10th out of 17 points.
