‘Yorker King’, who came to Australia as an additional bowler, not only made his debut but also impressed everyone.
Laxman said it was Pandya’s ‘best’ gesture and there is no doubt that Natarajan will continue to strive for the future.

Talking to ANI about handing over the award to Pace, Pandya said, “I strongly believe in supporting people to achieve their dreams and for them, the young man really deserves the award.”
Pandya said, “I want people to believe in them and achieve nothing against them. It is my way of appreciating their hard work. To my credit, Natarajan deserves the Man of the Series award. .
Natarajan took just two wickets in ODIs and took six wickets in the three-match T20I series – the most. In fact, the way he bowled yorkers has attracted one and all, and the pace player has been likened to Zaheer Khan.
Pandya has previously spoken about how he is entitled to the Veggie Man of the Match award after the second T20I.
“I thought Natarajan could be great. The other bowlers struggled and they had a really good game. They gave us a low target of 10 runs,” he said.
Skipper Virat Kohli has said that Wager could be an asset to the team. In fact, Kohli favors left-handed pacers because of the angle he creates.
“There is a special mention of Natarajan in the absence of Bumrah and Shami. He is a really tough man to stand up to and he is playing his first match internationally,” Kohli said at a press conference on Tuesday.
“He looks very composed and very hardworking and very humble. I wish him well and the left-handed bowler has always been an asset on the field and if he can stay consistent it will be a great thing. We are going to the World Cup next year,” he said.
