New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday visited his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, on the occasion of the Diwali celebration of Dev Diwali. PM Modi inaugurated the six-lane Varanasi-Prayagaraj project before participating in the Dee Diwali festival and will also visit the Sarnath archaeological site.
The newly widened and six-lane NH-19, a 73 km stretch, has been built at a total cost of Rs 2,447 crore, according to an official release, which is expected to reduce travel time between Pragya Raj and Varanasi by one hour.
