NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating a recent encounter in Nagrota in Jammu region, where four terrorists of Pakistan-based banned Jaish-e-Mohammed (JM) were killed by police, officials said. Friday.
The case was taken over by the Anti-Terrorism Investigation Agency following a notification issued by the Center.
The terrorists were killed in a swift operation by police on November 19 in Nagrota area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir.
The NIA investigation seeks to find out the plan and ultimate motive of the four JM terrorists and the people they were in contact with in Jammu and Kashmir.
The agency’s team visited the encounter site at Bon Toll Plaza on Nov. 19.
The NIA is already investigating a January 31 encounter this year in which three terrorists were killed by JM.
