New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday said he is saddened to learn of the death of MDH owner Mahashee Dharampal Gulati.
Gulati, known to all who watched him in his company’s ads over the years, died here Thursday morning. His age is 97.
Popularly known as the “Spice King”, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the country’s third highest civilian award, in 2019.

Saddened by the death of “Dharampal Gulati ji” President of “Mahashian De Hatti” (MDH), he honored Padma Bhushan. He is a celebrity of Indian industry. His social service activities are also laudable. My condolences to his family and fans, ”Kovind tweeted in Hindi.
