New Delhi: Air India Express’s Kovid Positive Cabin crew was on duty in the Delhi-Madurai sector last month. While the airline says it has received a crew member’s test report after the flight, some insiders say that the plane had arrived in Delhi before it was operational and a staff shortage would have caused the report to be ignored.
“Kovid tests are not manda tory for crews before handling domestic flights. On November 14, they were flying an international flight. But the flight from Delhi to Madurai left at 9.55 am, ”said an airline official.
Confirming this, an AI Express spokesman said the airline was “conducting a detailed investigation in this regard.”
