LUCKNOW: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said the country should not wait too long for the coronavirus vaccine as it warned people that there should be no laxity in the prevention of infection.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the Agra Metro project through video conferencing.
Before concluding his speech, he said, “One thing, I certainly remember you. There is a wait for the vaccine. But in the last few days, I have met with the scientists and I think the country doesn’t have to wait too long.”
“However, there should be no laxity on our part in the prevention of infection. Masks and two yards away are very necessary,” he said.
