Agra (Uttar Pradesh): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has dug up previous governments, said the BJP government at the center is not only focused on launching new projects but also has made sufficient funds to complete projects on time.
“One of the biggest problems of infrastructure development in the country is that projects have been announced but the funding system has not been given much attention. Therefore, projects have been dragging on for years. Said.
Talking about the culture and history of Agra, PM Modi said, “The city, which has a rich history and culture, is now in the 21st century.
“This (Agra) Metro project worth Rs 8000 crore strengthens the mission of setting up smart facilities in Agra,” he said.
The Agra Metro project consists of two corridors totaling 29.4 km and connects the major tourist attractions of the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort with railway stations and bus stations. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 8,379.62 crore and it will be completed in five years.
The Prime Minister listed various development projects completed in the six years after 2014, including the 450-kilometer metro route that has been implemented in the country.
Commenting on the Center’s efforts to boost development projects with the help of modern facilities, PM Modi said: “In the last six years, the speed and scale of the metro construction work reflects the commitment of this government. The railway line is now operating and working at speeds of about 1000 km. ”
“Furthermore, in 27 cities, metro construction is nearing completion or undergoing various stages,” he said.
In his address, he also referred to the recent Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), where the BJP gained a significant margin by winning 48 out of 150 seats.
Prime Minister Modi said, “The confidence of India’s sisters, daughters, peasants, workers and traders is seen in the results of every recent election. The poor and middle class in the Hyderabad elections blessed the efforts of the government. Your support is my inspiration.”
Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were accompanied by Prime Minister Modi.
