Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh CID has named a few companies and individuals associated with former CM N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh as accused in a land scam case in Amaravati.
The CID, in its FIR, named Lalitha Super-Specialties Hospitals Pvt Ltd and Lokesh’s close associate Rajesh Rajesh as one of the buyers of land in the capital city of AP before it was announced by the government.
The petitioners had filed a petition in the High Court arguing that there was no locus standi to file a complaint against the CID against Salivendra Suresh. In the counter-affidavit, Suresh said, “Lalitha Hospitals were the largest beneficiaries from the Health Sciences Health Scheme and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) from 2014 to 2019. The CMRF was issued based on the discretion of the then CM Naidu.”
