Palamu: A fire broke out between security forces and Naxalites in Salamandir forest in Palamu district on Thursday, police said.
During the search, an AK-47, a bolt action rifle, a 9mm pistol, a country-made weapon and two wireless sets were seized along with three magazines.
A search is currently underway and more details are expected.
Officials said that the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast carried out by the Naxalites in Sukma district on November 29 were the victims. Seven other crew members were injured in the ambush.
