From the charming superhero in ‘Krrish’ to the inspiring professor in ‘Super 30’ – Hrithik Roshan has captivated fans with several versatile characters. He has completed two decades in Bollywood this year and there have been several films rejected by Hrithik during this journey. One of them is Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Swades’ directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.

Talking about why he rejected the film, Hrithik told BT: “I read Ashutosh’s script for Swades. I couldn’t see it from the director’s point of view, so I didn’t feel I was equipped to handle this part. I could not have been a better person to translate Ashutosh’s vision. And after Lagan it was all right so when Ashutosh came to me I felt on top of the world. Swades is one of my favorite films. And Ashutosh is definitely one of my favorite filmmakers. Interestingly, Hrithik Roshan wrote a major essay on Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama Jodha Akbar.

While Hrithik has yet to announce his next film, Bazz suggests that he is in talks to take a parallel lead in the upcoming Hollywood action thriller.
