According to the UPSC IFS 2020 Exam Time-Table, released on the official website, the exam will begin on Sunday, February 28, 2021 with General English and General Knowledge papers.
The UPSC IFS 2020 Examination will be conducted in two sessions – early morning session (9:00 am to 12:00 pm) and noon session (02:00 pm to 05:00 pm).
The last paper test will be held on March 7, 2021.

Candidates should note that in the objective type question papers there is a penalty for the wrong answers identified by the candidate. For both writing and marking answers on the OMR sheet [Answer Sheet], Candidates should only use a black ball pen. Pens with any other color are prohibited. Do not use a pencil or ink pen.
Switch capable of being used as a communication device during the work or testing of any mobile phone (even if in switch-off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage device such as pen drive, smart watches, camera or blue tooth or any other equipment or related equipment. Off mode is strictly prohibited. Any violation of these instructions is subject to disciplinary action, including prohibition of future inspections.
Plan of Examination
Indian Forest Service Examination consists of two consecutive stages –
(i) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (as per Purpose) for selection of candidates for Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination; And
(ii) Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written & Interview) for selection of candidates for Indian Forest Service.
Candidates declared as having a qualifying Indian Forest Service (Main) examination are required to indicate the zoning / activist preference order in the Online Detailed Application Form-2 (DAF-2) before beginning the Personality Tests. (Interviews) of the exam. With this form, the candidate must upload documents / certificates for higher education, achievements in various fields, service experience, OBC supplement (OBC category only), EWS supplement (EWS class only), etc.
