Sydney: After winning the T20I series against Australia on their debut for the country, India pacer T Natarajan has been surreal over the past few months and thanked his teammates for their continued support and encouragement.
On Twitter, Speedster wrote, “The last few months have been surreal. My first outing with #TeamIndia and we won the T20I series was a special dream comedy moment from the champion group. The constant support and thanks from my teammates. Thank you all for your love and support. ”

Paceman Jaspreet Bumrah was rested for the T20I series and Mohammad Shami has not played the last two matches. Natarajan did not disappoint his hero and led the charge in the T20I series.
Two days after playing his first match in international cricket on 2 December, Natarajan debuted in a short format in the opening T20 against Australia.

The Tamil Nadu Navy gained popularity in the latest edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), where they were named ‘Yorker Machine’. Natarajan played for Kings XI Punjab and took 16 wickets in as many matches in the 13th edition of the cash rich league.
His performance in the IPL gave India a call. He was first included in the low-profile squad and later as a back-up in the BCCI ODI squad. The decision was taken after speeding Navdeep Saini complained of spinal cord injury.
